APRIL Case Study: Thorough SDG prioritization to maximize impact (WBCSD)

APRIL’s adoption of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to enhance its social and economic contribution is the subject of a case study recently published at the World Business Council on Sustainable Development’s (WBCSD) SDG Business Hub. The case study is one of a series looking at ways global companies are aligning with the SDGs to enhance strategy and create opportunities for innovation and collaboration and greater transparency.

In our case study we discuss our work alongside PwC to prioritise the SDGs based on the needs analysis in the areas where we operate, our current contributions to local social and economic development and the potential to maximise our impact. This is supported by the development of a framework to measure impact including a monitoring and reporting framework.
