Fourth Stakeholder Advisory Committee (SAC) Meeting Report

Members of the Stakeholder Advisory Committee (SAC) met for the fourth time in the last week of May 2015 to review APRIL’s updated Sustainable Forest Management Policy (SFMP) 2.0.  The complete SAC 4^th Meeting Report is available for download here.

Prior to this SAC meeting, the SAC also held its first Stakeholder Forum with local communities and representatives from civil society groups in Riau.  The SAC recognises the value of Stakeholder Forum and will conduct this Forum on a regular basis.  The Meeting Notes of the Stakeholders Forums are available for download:

In addition, KPMG Performance Registrar Ltd. (KPMG) presented its “Progress Report on APRIL’s Action Plan 2015”.  The SAC commends APRIL for the significant progress made against the Action Plan 2015.  The complete KPMG “Progress Report on APRIL’s Action Plan” is available for download here.

The next SAC meeting will be held on 9-13 November 2015 in Riau province, Indonesia.
